The Agri Business Incubation Centre (ABIC), of ICAR-Central Institute of Agricultural Engineering, Bhopal organized a two-day Sensitization Workshop for Start-ups Based on Agricultural Engineering Technologies for upcoming entrepreneurs from September 26 to 27 2016.
The participants were briefed about potential agricultural engineering technologies for agri-business start-ups and details on setting up of business unit viz. business plan, economic feasibility, market potential and ICAR-CIAE support etc.
Dr AK Ashtana, Director, Institute of Cooperative Management (ICM), Bhopal spoke on entrepreneurship development and management. Shri Prakash Chandra, Sr Manager, Indian Bank, informed on various schemes of Govt for Business start-ups.
Six entrepreneurs showed interest in start-up unit for manufacturing of agricultural machinery, nine in agro-produce processing and value addition, three in soybean processing, four in biomass based power generation unit and five in covered cultivation.
Twenty-seven participants from different parts of Madhya Pradesh participated in the workshop.
