An Interactive Co-Learning Workshop-cum-Training Programme on “Philosophy, Methods and Ethics in Science” was organized during 26-28 May 2016 by ICAR-Central Institute of Freshwater Aquaculture, Bhubaneswar with the technical collaboration of ICAR-Central Marine Fisheries Institute, Kochi for the benefit of the young scientists of the Institute.
In his inaugural address, Dr. P. Jayasankar, Director, ICAR-CIFA, Bhubaneswar emphasized that attitude of a person plays most important role for the success in his/her life. He reminded that scientist should be always flexible and innovative to deal with challenging situations.
The workshop-cum-training covered relevant and useful topics like Knowing us, Creativity and Creation, Critical Thinking and Rationality, System Thinking, Thinking on Methods, Philosophy and Ethical Practices in Science.
Twenty three young Scientists of the institute had participated in the programme.
