A one-day campus Training programme on Oyster Mushroom Cultivation was jointly organized by Krishi Vigyan Kendra East Siang and College of Horticulture & Forestry, Central Agricultural University, Pasighat, Arunachal Pradesh.
The objective of the training programme was to impart hands on training on entrepreneurship development in Oyster Mushroom Cultivation. Forty Agriculture Field Assistants from Department of Agriculture, Government of Arunachal Pradesh participated in the training programme.
The training programme was inaugurated by Dr. A.K. Pandey, Dean of the College, he urged the participants to opt for this new 21st century crop and promote this low cost effective technology for livelihood security especially for young women entrepreneur.
