Eight Farmers’ Clubs, initiated by Seva Bharati Krishi Vigyan Kendra (SBKVK) in collaboration with Kapgari Anchal Village Watershed Samiti were inaugurated, here today. These farmers’ clubs will play a pivotal role for technology dissemination by ensuring creative and active participation of Krishi Vigyan Kendra, NABARD, Banks and other stakeholders for the real cause of the farming community. These Farmers’ Clubs are located in the villages of Purnapani, Hatiasuli, Kenduasuli, Badakata, Rakhalmara, Kapatkata, Chilki and Amlatora under the Jamboni Block of this district.
The inaugural function was organized at Kenduasuli village. The villagers were welcomed to the dignitaries by traditional Tribal folk dance and the dignitaries have also appreciated the programme and reception. Emphasized has been given by all of the experts on rural livelihood development through sustainable agriculture and resource productivity management. SBKVK initiated various agricultural developmental activities in the said areas.

Maiti, Programme Co-ordinator, SBKVK; Mrs. Keshormoni Hansda, Pradhan, Kapgari G. P.; Mr. Ram Ch. Mahata, President, Hatiasuli-Bankber Village Watershed Samiti; highlighted the agricultural development scheme and programmes on the occasion.
More than 500 farmers and farm women were attended the event. Also, several KVK scientists, officers from Council, Govt Departments, Banks, etc were present there.
