ICAR-Central Institute for Research on Cotton Technology, Mumbai organized a five days (5-9 October 2015) training program on “Advances in Applications of Nanotechnology”.
Dr. P. G. Patil, Director, ICAR-CIRCOT, during the valedictory meet, emphasized on need for networking of nanotechnology professionals working in various organizations for meaningful process/product development for serving diversified stakeholders.
The course curriculum included synthesis of nanomaterials by mechanical, chemical and biological processes, advanced characterization tools for nanomaterials and applications of nanomaterials in textiles, composites, filtration, nanosensors and agriculture.
The 17 participants of the training program included scientists, professors, students and researchers from industry.
