The ICAR-Agricultural Technology Application Research Institute, Zone - II, Jodhpur, Rajasthan organized the two-day Virtual Training Programme-cum-Review Meeting on “Cluster Front Line Demonstration on Oilseeds” under the National Food Security Mission from 25th to 26th March, 2022.
Delivering the inaugural address, Dr. S.K. Singh, Director, ICAR-ATARI, Jodhpur, Rajasthan briefed about the concept’s philosophy, importance and the various initiatives launched by the Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers’ Welfare, Government of India and the Indian Council of Agricultural Research, New Delhi for the development and promotion of the usable technologies of oilseeds to enhance the productivity in sustainable manner.
The programme was aimed at reviewing the real outcome of the Cluster Front Line Demonstrations carried out under the different farming situations by the Krishi Vigyan Kendras of Rajasthan, Haryana and Delhi during the Kharif and Rabi Seasons - 2021-22.
A total of 63 Krishi Vigyan Kendras including 44 from Rajasthan, 18 from Haryana and 1 from Delhi State participated in the programme.
