Training on Ornamental Fish Culture and Management for Livelihood Improvement of Rural Women Inagurated

Training on Ornamental Fish Culture and Management for Livelihood Improvement of Rural Women InaguratedShri Radha Mohan Singh,  Union Minister of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, inaugurated a five-day training programme on “Ornamental Fish Culture and Management for Livelihood Improvement of Rural Women” (27th June 2016 – 1st July 2016) at ICAR Research Complex for Eastern Region, Patna today.

Shri Singh, in his address, stated that a training centre on ornamental fish culture and production at ICARRCER, Patna aims to impart training to rural women for their livelihood improvement and empowerment through ornamental fish farming. The aim of the training programme is to improve the economic condition of rural women through self-employment, he added.

Around 25 farm women from different parts of Bihar participated in the training.
