While referring climate change as a major challenge for agricultural researchers and scientists, Sharad Pawar, Union Minister of Agriculture, Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution urged the scientific fraternity to leapfrog to frontier areas of research. This would give us necessary technology interventions to enable us to ensure sustainable agricultural growth in agriculture, he added.
