The Virtual Framers’ Training Programme on “Improved soybean production technology” was organized by the ICAR-Indian Institute of Soybean Research, Indore, Madhya Pradesh here today. The Programme was organized in association with the ITC Ltd.

Dr. Nita Khandekar, Director, ICAR-IISR, Indore underlined the various issues related to Soybean cultivation and the Institute’s efforts in promoting the agronomic package of practices for its dissemination among the Soybean growers.
Shri Rakesh Mohan Rawat, Associate Manager (Agriculture Services) ITC Limited appreciated the Institute’s efforts for promoting the technologies. He also urged for strengthening the Institute’s association with ITC in the near future.
More than 1,000 Progressive Soya Farmers from Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra and Rajasthan participated in the Programme organized as a part of the “Bharat Ka Amrut Mahotsav” to commemorate 75 Years of India’s Independence.
