Har Ghar Tiranga campaign at ICAR-CIRCOT, Mumbai

ICAR- Central Institute for Research on Cotton Technology, Mumbai organized “Har Ghar Tiranga” campaign on the eve of Independence Day celebrations today. It was the 60th campaign under Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav and marked the end of a series of programmes that started at the Institute on 16th April, 2022.

The programme conducted in hybrid mode was attended by all the staff members from the institute’s headquarters physically and staff of the Ginning Training Centre of Nagpur and regional stations in virtual mode.

Dr. Sujata Saxena, Director, ICAR-CIRCOT apprised about the Government of India’s initiative of hoisting tricolor on every home and explained its significance. She stated that the nation’s progress depends on the efforts made by its citizens and hence citizens should be aware of their duties and responsibilities towards the country.

 Ms. Prachi Mahatre (Secretary, AKAM) presented the journey of the Institute through various Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav events. She highlighted that the institute organized total 60 events including “Har Ghar Tiranga” event comprising of E-goshtis/workshops (22), webinars (32), online training (1) and fit India run (5).
