The ICAR-Agricultural Technology Application Research Institute, Kolkata organized the “Review Workshop of Farmers’ FIRST Programme” today.
In his address, the Chief Guest, Dr. V.P. Chahal, ADG (Agricultural Extension), ICAR urged for following the prescribed methodologies mentioned in the guidelines of the FFP for preparing the different modules and utilize the funds efficiently. Dr. Chahal also suggested to the Principal Investigators / Co-Principal Investigators for preparing a separate Action Plan for the scaling-up of the different tested technologies.
Dr. K.S. Das, Member Secretary, ZPMC of FFP, ICAR-ATARI, Kolkata briefed about the FFP during the Year 2020-21.
Earlier, delivering the welcome address, Dr. S.K. Roy, Principal Scientist, ICAR-ATARI, Kolkata highlighted the importance of the Project, its funds’ allotment, release and utilization.
The Meeting was aimed at reviewing the physical and financial progress during the Year 2020-21.
The Principal Investigators of all the 4 Projects presented their physical and financial progress during the Year - 2020-21 and the Action Plan for the Year - 2021-22.
