The Two Training Programmes on “Modern Interventions for Enhancing Productivity and Quality of Temperate Fruit Crops under High Density Plantation” and “Technological Advances in Temperate Fruit Production for Enhancing Productivity of Quality Produce in High-Density Plantations” organized by the ICAR-Central Institute of Temperate Horticulture, Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir from 18th to 22nd April, 2022 and 25th to 29th April, 2022, respectively concluded today.
The Programmes were organized for the SMS, HDOs, AHDOs & HEOs from the Department of Horticulture, Government of Himachal Pradesh.
The trainees were apprised about the modern crop production, protection and post-harvest management techniques in temperate fruits under the high-density planting systems. The participants were also provided with the Exposure Visits to SKUAST-K, ICAR-RS-NBPGR, ICAR-RS-IGFRI and ICAR-CITH-KVK, Baramulla during the occasion.
Around 19 & 20 Officials from the different Districts of Himachal Pradesh participated in the Programmes.
