Strengthening Institutional Capacity for Gender-Responsive Research & Extension

ICAR Institutes have nominated Nodal and Co-Nodal Officers for escalating gender research. A total of 9 training programmes on ‘Strengthening Agriculture Research with Gender Perspective for Sustainable Agri-Food Systems’ for Nodal & Co-Nodal Officers, and Scientists and Subject Matter Specialists of KVKs were organized by ICAR-CIWA during February – August 2026. A total of 210 Nodal & Co-Nodal Officers from ICAR Institutes and 1298 Scientists and Subject Matter Specialists from KVKs participated in the training programmes.
