Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Washim in collaboration with Dr.Panjabrao Deshmukh Krishi Vidyapeeth Akola and Agriculture Department launched the program activities under “Majha Ek Diwas Mazya Baliraja Sathi” in one of the remote, backward and tribal populated village Bhaurad of Malegaon block today under the chairmanship of Sarpanch Shri Ganeshrao Napte at Gram Panchayat Office.
Majha Ek Diwas Mazya Baliraja Sathi campaign is organized from 1 September to 30 November 2022 by State Department of Agriculture in entire Maharashtra State Government. Objective of the campaign is to know the farmers concern in technology adoption, feedback about research recommendation and implementation of various schemes in the benefit of the farming community.
Head, KVK, Washim and Senior Scientist, Dr. R. L. Kale while interacting with the farmers stressed on need of farmer’s collectivization through FPOs formation which will address the existing problems and helps for crop diversification and also can avail benefits of various schemes and program. He has also emphasized on promotion of integrated farming system, kitchen garden and nutri-cereals etc.
A diagnostic visit to farmer’s field was undertaken by the KVK experts and other participants.
Farmers, rural youth, extension field workers and farm women’s participated in all the activities and supported for preparation and developing village plan.
