Winter School on Trends in Integrated Disease Management using Nano-technology Inaugurated

ICAR-sponsored 21-day (22 January-11 February 2025) winter school on ‘Trends in Integrated Disease Management using Nano-technology: Challenges and way forward Inaugurated’ was inaugurated today at the ICAR-National Institute of Biotic Stress Management, Raipur.

In his inaugural address, Dr. V. K. Tripathi, Director of Research, IKGV, Raipur and the chief guest of the function emphasized the crucial role of nanotechnology in biotic stress management in general and plant disease control in particular. He highlighted recent advancements in nanotechnology and its applications in agriculture particularly in integrated disease management.   

Earlier, Dr. Pankaj Sharma, Joint Director and Course Director of Winter School briefed about the training programme.

All the 23 participants of winter school along with the Joint Directors, scientific and administrative staff of ICAR-NIBSM attended the programme.
