ICAR-National Academy of Agriculture Research Management, organised a 50-day Certificate Course under the Agri-business Management Development Program from 15th November 2023 - 4th January 2024, to strengthen the agri-business sector and promote the growth of FPOs in Andhra Pradesh.
The Chief Guest of the concluding session Shri. M.R Gopal, Chief General Manager, NABARD, Andhra Pradesh Regional Office, acknowledged the transformative potentials of the programme and the collaborative efforts between NABARD & ICAR-NAARM in reshaping the FPO landscape in the country.
Dr. Ch. Srinivasa Rao, Director, ICAR-NAARM, emphasised on the importance of FPOs in promoting value addition in agriculture and transforming farming as professional and sustainable activity. He also said that ICAR-NAARM will initiate the three month certificate course for FPOs very soon.
Dr. G. Venkateshwarlu, Joint Director at ICAR-NAARM and Vice-President of a-IDEA, ICAR-NAARM, Hyderabad urged the trained CEOs to share important activities of FPOs with a-Idea, ICAR-NAARM to build the success stories of FPOs.
Shri. P. Jaya Kannan, GM (Retd.) NABARD, Shri. C.R Abuvarajan, DGM, NABARD and other officials also attended the programme.
