Capacity building and entrepreneurship development programme for tribal women concludes

ICAR-Indian Institute of Soil and Water Conservation, Dehradun, Khadi, and Village Industries Commission collaboratively organised two training-cum-demonstration and entrepreneurship development programmes for women in TSP (Tribal Sub-Pan) adopted village Fataeau, today.
The experts provided training to women on making various types of detergents, including cloth washing powder, liquid, and dishwashing powder. Training was also provided to the women in making various products like mixed pickles, apple jam, tomato chutney, tomato puree, Buransh juice, Amla murabba and jelly. Through this training, women can now make fruit and vegetable products at home.
Secateurs to the farmers, a tool used for pruning of trees was distributed during the programme.
The female residents of the village showed a strong and positive interest in attending and actively engaging with the training programme provided to them, demonstrating a keen willingness to learn and participate fully.
