Capacity Building Program on “Inland Fisheries Management” for Fish farmers of Bihar

ICAR-Central Inland Fisheries Research Institute, Barrackpore organised a 7 - day capacity building Programme on ‘Inland Fisheries Management’ for the fish farmers of Muzaffarpur district of Bihar from 2nd - 8th August 2023.

Dr. B.K. Das, Director, ICAR-CIFRI stressed the need for fishers to grasp more knowledge on inland fisheries management to secure a sustainable livelihood.

Around 30 fish farmers along with one fisheries development officer participated in the program. The program was sponsored by the Directorate of Fisheries, Government of Bihar.
