Hon’ble Prime Minister Sri Narendra Modi inaugurated the first-ever National Training Conclave at the Convention Centre in Pragati Maidan, New Delhi on today and addressed the representatives from training and research institutes across the Country.
The Prime Minister highlighted the importance of capacity building, ending silos and enhancing service delivery.

The Conclave was hosted by the Capacity Building Commission (CBC) with an objective to foster collaboration among training institutes and strengthen the training infrastructure across the country.
The Capacity Building Unit (CBU) of DARE-ICAR, comprising Dr Ch Srinivasa Rao, Director and Dr G.Venkateshwarlu, Joint Director from ICAR-NAARM, Dr S.K. Sharma, ADG (HRM) and Sri Rajeev Lal, Joint Secretary (Admin), ICAR and others participated in the Conclave along with HRD Nodal Officers of various ICAR Institutes.
During the conclave, eight breakout sessions were organized with panel discussions on important elements of capacity building pertaining to Identification of Training Needs, Promotion of Knowledge Sharing, Effective Assessment of Conducted Training and Transforming to a Phygital World of Capacity Building.
