Dr. Himanshu Pathak, Secretary (DARE) & Director General (ICAR) interacted with heads of the Institutes of ICAR Institutes located at Hyderabad at ICAR-National Academy of Agricultural Research Management today. Heads of the ICAR Institutes: IIRR, CRIDA, IIOR, IIMR, PDP, ATARI, NRC Meat and NAARM along with Heads of regional station of IIMR participated in the review meeting.
The DG in his address stressed the research focus on emerging challenges in agriculture, technology development, revenue generation, inter-institute projects among ICAR Institutes and with CG Institutes, CSR funds, and State Government projects, budget utilization along with sharing research facilities.
Directors of Institutes and Heads of regional stations presented the priority-based new initiatives taken by the respective institutes and progress on this these initiatives.
Earlier, Dr Ch Srinivasarao, Director, ICAR-NAARM delivered a welcome address.
