The eco-friendly technology, titled “Agro-nutrient formulation from fish waste for seed priming and stress resilience,” supports sustainable agriculture and circular economy practices. The initiative is part of ICAR-CIFT’s ongoing efforts to promote eco-innovations and valorization of fishery waste.

Ms. Varalikka Manaksia, the youngest incubatee at ICAR-CIFT and a promising young entrepreneur, will lead the technology's adoption with the support of her father, Shri Aditya B. Manaksia, a noted entrepreneur from West Bengal.
This collaboration aligns with ICAR-CIFT’s mandate to disseminate research-based, commercially viable technologies and reflects its commitment to sustainable development, resource efficiency, and environmental stewardship. It also highlights the growing role of young entrepreneurs in the agri-startup ecosystem, supported through ICAR-CIFT’s incubation initiatives.
