The ICAR-Indian Institute of Soil & Water Conservation, Research Centre, Udhagamandalam, Tamil Nadu signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Agricultural Engineering College & Research Institute, Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu today.
Dr. N. Kumar, Vice-Chancellor of Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Coimbatore was also present during the occasion.
Dr. K. Kannan, Head, ICAR-IISWC, Research Centre, Udhagamandalam and Dr. A.S. Krishnamoorthy, Registrar, Tamil Nadu Agricultural University signed the MoU on the behalf of their respective organizations.
As per the MoU, the students will be exchanged for academic, research and training purposes where expertise and logistics of both the Institutions will be shared.
The MoU was aimed at long-term collaboration with the TNAU for conducting the training and research for Masters / Doctoral Degree in the area of Soil and Water Conservation Engineering.
