ICAR-NRCSS,Ajmer organizes ‘Sankalp Se Siddhi’

NRCSS and KVK, Ajmer organized Sankalp Se Siddhi movement for doubling farmer income by 2022. Chief guest  Bhupendra Yadav, MP (Rajya Sabha) advocated coordination among all departments to make this mission a grand success. On this occasion, a hindi magazine “Masala Surabhi” was launched which will address research and other dimensions related to spices and seed spices to its stakeholders.

Dr. Gopal Lal, Director, NRCSS informed the audience about center research activities and the work done by NRCSS for doubling farmers’ income. Ms. Vandana Nogiya, Zila Pramukh, Ajmer highlighted the contribution and role of women in doubling farmers by 2022. Shri Ramchandra Choudhary, Chairman, Ajmer Dairy addressed the gathering and detailed about the role of dairy industry and cattle for the region. On behalf of Ajmer collector, Shri Arun Garg, CEO, Ajmer congratulated the team for the function and committed to give his support for making the movement successful. Dr. V K Sharma, Deputy Director Agriculture, Ajmer stressed upon rain water harvesting and its importance for increasing crop acreage and productivity. Finally, few progressive farmers were awarded for their excellent contribution in farming.
