A Sensitization and Awareness Workshop on the creation of soybean advisories using Kisan Sarathi Kosh was successfully organised today at the Dr Ram Manohar Lohiya Seminar Hall, Deendayal Research Institute (DRI), Chitrakoot, Satna. The programme was conducted by ICAR-Agricultural Technology Application Research Institutes, Jabalpur, with the objective of strengthening the capacity of agricultural professionals in developing effective, timely, and location-specific advisory services for soybean farmers.
The workshop aimed to familiarise participants with the features and practical applications of the Kisan Sarathi Kosh platform, enabling them to prepare accurate and need-based soybean advisories.

The programme was inaugurated by Prof. Alok Chaube, Vice Chancellor, Mahatma Gandhi Chitrakoot Gramodaya Vishwavidyalaya (MGCG), Chitrakoot, Satna.
During the technical sessions, experts highlighted the significance of digital knowledge repositories in strengthening agricultural extension services. Shri Sanjeev Kumar provided detailed insights into the Kisan Sarathi 2.0 platform, addressed participants’ queries, and guided them on the effective use of the application for advisory generation.
In the valedictory session, Dr S.R.K. Singh, Director, ICAR-ATARI, Jabalpur, shared his valuable insights and encouraged participants to leverage digital tools for enhancing the reach and quality of advisory services to farmers.

The workshop served as an important platform for capacity building and knowledge exchange, and is expected to significantly strengthen the delivery of digital, farmer-centric advisory services in the region.
