Hands-on training on molecular techniques for fish disease diagnosis

25th July - 3rd August 2023, Lucknow

A hands-on-training on ‘Molecular techniques for fish disease diagnosis’ from 25th July to 3rd August, 2023, was organised by the ICAR-National Bureau of Fish Genetic Resources, Lucknow for the staff of Aqua One Centres of National Centre for Sustainable Aquaculture (NaCSA). The training aimed to enhance the participants' skills and expertise in diagnosing and reporting diseases with the help of molecular techniques

Dr. U. K. Sarkar, Director, ICAR-NBFGR, emphasized the adoption of innovative techniques and frontier science tools to diagnose aquatic animal diseases and their effective surveillance, which may support the fish farmers to avoid their economic loss.
