ICAR-Central Citrus Research Institute, Nagpur, in collaboration with the Indian Society of Citriculture (ISC), jointly organized a one-day Entrepreneurship Development Programme (EDP) under NAIF Scheme on “Citrus Fruits: Production to Post Harvest Related Technologies” here today.


Dr. Ashish Paturkar, Vice-Chancellor, Maharashtra Animal & Fishery Sciences University, Nagpur was the Chief Guest of the inaugural session.
Dr. Dilip Ghosh, Director, ICAR-CCRI briefed about the need for entrepreneurship development in the citrus fruits sector and achievements made by this institute.
In the technical sessions, different technologies related to citrus nurseries, citrus fruit production, protection, PHT, processing and value-addeded product development were deliberated.
A total of 44 trainees participated in the program.
