ICAR-CIPHET organized an Orientation program cum exposure visit for school students

The ICAR-Central Institute of Post-Harvest Engineering and Technology, Ludhiana organized an ‘Orientation program cum exposure visit for school students’ from Partap Public School, Ludhiana on today for promotion of millets. Various facilities of the institute like the agro-processing centre, millet processing center, workshop, and other facilities were visited and demonstrated.

Dr. Sandeep Mann, I/c Director and Dr. Manju Bala, Head, Food Grains & Oilseeds Processing Division highlighted the importance of millets in diet and Dr. R. C. Kasana, Nodal Officer, Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav, motivated the students to keep at least one millet-based product in their diet to improve their nutrition.
