ICAR-KVK, Ri-Bhoi today organized a day-long programme on “Training cum field visit” under the topic of “Integrated Farming System (IFS) with special reference to livestock integration” for 18 progressive farmers under Janjatiya Gaurav Diwas with “FXB India Suraksha-a NGO of “Umktieh” village of Ri-Bhoi district, Meghalaya today.
Dr. M. Mokidul Islam, Principal Scientist and Head, KVK Ri-Bhoi spoke about the importance and benefits of IFS in the agricultural sector which directly improve the livelihood of the farmers.
