ICAR- Central Citrus Research Institute, Nagpur celebrated its 39th Foundation Day here today.
The Chief Guest, Dr. Atul Narayan Vaidya, Director, CSIR - National Environmental Engineering Research Institute shared his insights on the environment. He stated CSIR-NEERI will take up collaborative research on the Analysis of Carbon Footprint of Citrus Farming in the near future.

Dr. N. G. Patil, Director, ICAR-NBSS LUP, Nagpur and Dr. V.B. Patel, Assistant Director General (Fruit & Plantation Crops) were the Guests of Honour. They congratulated the ICAR-CCRI team for a dedicated service of 39 years even amidst many limitations. They also urged to work in collaboration with private partners and strengthen the transfer of technologies in PPP mode.
Dr. Dilip Ghosh, Director, ICAR- CCRI Nagpur, briefed about the achievements of ICAR-CCRI in the past three decades.
Three progressive citrus growers were felicitated during the program for their outstanding contribution to citrus cultivation.
