An agreement was inked between the M/S Entryway Shipping and Logistics Private Limited, a business based in Cochin, and the ICAR-Central Tuber Crops Research Institute (CTCRI), Thiruvananthapuram, to transfer the technology for wax coating cassava tubers. Dr. G. Byju, Director of the ICAR-CTCRI, and Shri. Kunjumon K.G., Managing Director of M/S. Entryway Shipping and Logistics Private Limited, signed the Memorandum of Understanding. in the presence of Dr. G. Suja, Head, Department of Crop Production, Dr. T. Makes Kumar, , Scientist- in-charge, Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation Unit of ICAR-CTCRI, Dr. Saravanan Raju, Principal Scientist, Department of Crop Production & inventor, Dr. Krishna Kumar T., Scientist, Department of Crop Utilization, ICAR-CTCRI and Dr. P. Sethuraman Sivakumar, In-charge of ITMU of ICAR-CTCRI. Dr. Saravanan Raju performed a wax coating technology demonstration after the contract was signed.
