The ICAR–Indian Institute of Millets Research (ICAR-IIMR), Hyderabad, has entered into a strategic partnership with the Heartyculture Natural Products, an initiative of the Heartfulness Institute, to promote millet-based value-added products.

On 24 April 2025, a Memorandum of Agreement was signed between ICAR-IIMR and The Heartyculture Natural Products for the licensing of six innovative millet technologies. These include Sorghum Almond Cookies, Sorghum Cashew Cookies, Sorghum Choco-chip Cookies, Finger Millet Energy Bar, Sorghum Instant Idli Mix, and Sorghum Puff.
The product launch took place today on the occasion of Heartfulness Day, graced by Pujya Shri Daaji, the current Guide of Heartfulness and President, Shri Ram Chandra Mission. The event was also attended by Dr R. C. Agrawal, Deputy Director General (Agri Education), ICAR; Dr (Mrs.) C. Tara Satyavathi, Director, ICAR-IIMR; and other dignitaries from the institute.

The Heartyculture Natural Products, incubated at ICAR-IIMR’s Technology Business Incubator, Nutrihub, leveraged the Common Facility Centre to initiate commercial production of these millet-based products. The launch received an enthusiastic response from the public, with the products made available for sale on the spot.
This collaboration aims to boost the consumption of millets and promote healthier dietary choices in alignment with India's broader millets mission.
