An interaction meeting-cum-visit of members of the Agricultural Machinery Manufacturers’ Association was held at ICAR-Central Institute of Agricultural Engineering, Bhopal today.
Dr. KP Singh, Assistant Director General (Farm Engineering), interacted with the manufacturer regarding the Council’s interest and expectations in public-private partnership for R&D. He also urged the manufacturers to take advantage of their visit to a premier Institute in Agricultural Engineering.
Dr. CR Mehta, Director, ICAR-CIAE, briefed about the modern machinery/ technologies developed by the institute.
The live demonstrations of new and modern technologies developed by ICAR-CIAE were arranged. Manufacturers showed keen interest in the technologies and also visited Institute Laboratories. The testing facility of agricultural machinery was also a focal point of the visit for the manufacturers to learn about the various instruments and techniques used for commercial testing of farm machinery.
The meeting was attended by 65 manufacturers from various states.
