An MoU was signed today among OUAT, ICAR-NRRI, ICAR-CIFA, ICAR-IIWM, ICAR-CIWA, ICAR-NIFMD, RS-IIHR, RS-CTCRI, RS-IIPR, RS-IISWC, RS-DPR, and RS-CRIJAF during the inaugural function of Farmers’ Fair organized by Odisha University of Agriculture & Technology. The objective of the MoU is to facilitate all the institutes/universities to undertake various activities like student exchange, faculty exchange, collaborative research, outreaching & upscaling the technologies, sharing laboratory and other facilities, joint publication/patent/IPR, joint organization of seminar/conference/workshop and any other scientific activities on mutual consent.
The MoU was signed in presence of Dr. Arbind Padhi, Principal Secretary, Agriculture, and Shri SK Vashistha, Principal Secretary, Animal Husbandry and Fisheries, Govt of Odisha. Dr. Padhi and Shri Vashistha, appreciated the effort to work together and promised to extend all help from the state govt to make this MoU a success.
In his address, Dr PK Roul, Vice-chancellor, OUAT opined that a new era has begun with the convergence of Odisha-NARS, which has been created through this MoU.
Dr. AK Nayak, Director, ICAR-NRRI exhorted that our activities should be in mission mode with the maximum possible number of partners taking part in each endeavor.
