The ICAR-Central Institute of Post-Harvest Engineering & Technology, Ludhiana, Punjab organized the Webinar to mark the celebration of the “Kisan Bhagdari, Prathmikta Hamari” today.
Dr. Nachiket Kotwaliwale, Director, ICAR-CIPHET, Ludhiana apprised the participants about the Institute’s technological achievements. He underlined the imparting of the training to the Entrepreneurs by the Institute through the Entrepreneurship Development Programme organized at the regular intervals. The need for promoting the Entrepreneurship among the educated youths for the overall development of the society was also stressed by Dr. Nachiket.
Dr. Ramesh Kumar, Principal Scientist, ICAR-Indian Maize Research Institute, Ludhiana, Punjab underlined the need of Bio-Fortification of Maize and its impact on the nutritional security of the country.
The Webinar organized as a part of the “Bharat Ka Amrut Mahotsav” to commemorate 75 Years of India’s Independence registered participation by about 100 participants.
