Central Sheep and Wool Research Institute, Avikanagar participated in the “VASTRA – An International Textile and Apparel Fair 2012” (VASTRA – 2012) from 22 to 25 November, 2012 at EPIP, Sitapura, Jaipur. The stall of the institute, showcasing the various woollen technologies and exhibits made up from wool, Pashmina and Angora fibres, was visited by Chief Minister of Rajasthan Shri Ashok Gehlot who interacted with the scientists and appreciated activities and woollen products of the institute.
Rajasthan State Industrial Development and Investment Corporation Ltd. (RIICO) and Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) jointly organized the fair to provide market access exposure to latest in technologies, trends and fashion, networking for new business partners and explore possibilities of new investment in this sector.
