ICAR-CIAE participates in Webinar organized by BIS, New Delhi

The ICAR-Central Institute of Agricultural Engineering, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh showcases its developed Technologies on Soybean Processing during the Awareness and Implementation Webinar on “Indian Standards on Soy Products” today. The Webinar was organized by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), New Delhi.

Dr. R.K. Singh, ADG (CC), ICAR delivered the Keynote Address.

Shri Sanjay Pant, Deputy Director General (Standardization - II), BIS, New Delhi delivered the thematic address.

Representing the Institute in the Webinar, Dr. Punit Chandra, Principal Scientist, ICAR-CIAE, Bhopal apprised the participants about the requirements of the Soy Products in formulation of the standards.

Ms. Lavika Singh, Scientist - B, Food & Agriculture Department, BIS, New Delhi underlined the Indian Standards on Soy Products published by the BIS.

More than 50 participants from the Micro and Medium Scale Industries attended the Webinar.
