ICAR-CIRCOT’s signature skill development training programme on nanotechnology, was organized during September 24-28, 2018. In line with the Government of India’s Skill Development Initiative, this five-day training programme was designed to acquaint participants with the recent advances in nanotechnology, to impart hands-on training on synthesis & characterization of nanomaterials and to demonstrate the application of nanomaterials in textiles, composites, filtration, sensors and agriculture & allied sectors.
Speaking on the occasion of valedictory function, Dr. P.G. Patil, Director, ICAR-CIRCOT, Mumbai highlighted the major research achievements of the Institute in the field of Nanotechnology for the past 14 years and its lead position in organizing the self-sponsored training programmes for the benefits of researchers, academicians, students and industrialists.
Thirteen participants participated in the training programme.
