18th to 22nd June, 2019, Cochin
The ICAR-Central Institute of Fisheries Technology, Cochin has organized a five-day long Training Programme on “HACCP Concepts” at its campus from 18th to 22nd June, 2019.
Dr. Ravishankar C.N., Director, ICAR-CIFT stated that in the wake of increasing cases of food borne diseases food adulterations, today, the people have become more aware about the issues of food safety. In order to ensure the good quality of food products, an emphasis is being given by the government and other agencies. In this context, he regarded the Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) system recognised by the World Health Organization as the best system available for controlling the food related hazards.
A total of 35 participants comprising of students, professionals and researchers have registered their participation in the training programme.
