The 12-day Virtual Management Development Programme (MDP) on “Leadership Development (A Pre-RMP Programme)” organized by the ICAR-National Academy of Agricultural Research Management, Hyderabad from 14th to 25th June, 2021 concluded today.
In his valedictory address, emphasizing on the need for leadership competencies, Dr. Ch. Srinivasa Rao, Director, ICAR-NAARM encouraged the participants for aspiring to become future leaders and serve the Council and the Nation, keeping in view the farming community at the core.
The programme was aimed at providing an opportunity for the pre-RMPs of the “Middle Zone” to develop smooth and gradual transformation to step into the future leadership position. The participants were apprised about the different aspects of leadership challenges and competencies needed in the present context, imparted knowledge & skills required for technology management, information & knowledge management and administrative & finance management during the programme.
A total of 37 participants from the ICAR Institutes and State Agricultural Universities also participated in the programme.
