Training Programme on “Diversification through Value-Addition in Milk Products and Livestock Health Management for SC Community” organized

The ICAR-Central Soil Salinity Research Institute, Karnal, Haryana in collaboration with the Krishi Vigyan Kendra, ICAR-National Dairy Research Institute, Karnal, Haryana organized the Training Programme on Diversification through Value-Addition in Milk Products and Livestock Health Management for SC Community” under the Scheduled Caste Sub Plan Programme from 12th to 13th August, 2021.

In his address, Dr. P.C. Sharma, Director, ICAR-CSSRI, Karnal apprised the rural women about enhancing their income through animal (dairy products) and allied enterprises (tailoring and clothing).

The participants were provided with the hands-on-training for making quality Paneer and other products like Curd, Ghee and Butter, etc., during the occasion. The rural women were also encouraged for forming the Self-Help Groups.

A total of 36 participants participated in the training programme.
