Shri Manohar Lal Khattar, Chief Minister, Government of Haryana visited the ICAR-Central Institute for Research on Buffaloes, Hisar, Haryana today.
The CM was accompanied by Shri Ranbir Singh Gangwa, Deputy Speaker of Haryana; Dr. Kamal Gupta, Minister, Government of Haryana; Shri Vinod Bhyana, MLA; Shri Gautam Sardana, Mayor and several other dignitaries.
Shri Khattar visited the Semen Freezing Laboratory of the Institute. The CM also interacted with the Institute’s Scientists and 27 Farmer Trainees from 5 different States. He applauded the remarkable research on the very important commodity, Buffalo, which is the livelihood for many farmers of the State.
Dr. Tirtha Kumar Datta, Director, ICAR-CIRB, Hisar apprised the dignitaries about the more than double enhancement in the production potential of Buffaloes since the inception of the Institute.
