The Training Programme on “Nanotechnology and its Advanced Applications” organized by the ICAR-Central Institute for Research on Cotton Technology, Mumbai, Maharashtra from 22nd to 26th November, 2021 concluded today.

In her valedictory address, Dr. Sujata Saxena, Director, ICAR-CIRCOT, Mumbai emphasized on the potential of the nanotechnology in diversified fields and the skills required for commercial exploitation of nanotechnology enabled products in the markets.
The programme was aimed at acquainting the participants with the recent advances in the field of nanotechnology, demonstrating the synthesis and characterization methodologies and their potential applications in agriculture and allied sectors, cotton textiles, bio-composites, pulp & paper, filtration and sensors.
Around 15 participants including 10 Women Researchers attended the programme.
