The ICAR-Directorate of Weed Research, Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh organized the Farmers’-Scientists’-Interface Meet on “Climate-Resilient Agriculture” today.
The farmers were apprised about the adverse effects of climate change on agriculture and the various mitigation technologies like use of climate-resilient short duration crops and varieties with greater inclusion of Millets, conservation agriculture, weed management, etc., during the occasion.
The Spraying Kits were distributed to the farmers on the occasion.
A total of 187 farmers from Panagar, Patan and Bargi of Jabalpur along with Staff Members of Directorate participated in the Meet.
