The Virtual Training Programme on “Impactful ICT Applications and Technologies in Agriculture” organized by the ICAR-National Academy of Agricultural; Research Management, Hyderabad from 3rd to 7th January, 2022 concluded today.
Delivering the valedictory address, Dr. Ch. Srinivasa Rao, Director, ICAR-NAARM, Hyderabad highlighted the importance of Information & Communication Technology / Artificial Intelligence methodologies in the current scenario where more than 100 Billion Devices are connected to the Web and generates a lot of data. He also urged the participants for implementing the learning in the domain of agriculture through possible collaborations. The need of innovative AI apps and the way in which these AI innovations can possibly emerge at the intersection of Agriculture, Finance, IT, IoT and BI was also emphasized by Dr. Rao.
