The ICAR-Indian Grassland and Fodder Research Institute, Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh in collaboration with the MANAGE, Hyderabad organized a four-day Training Programme on “Agri-preneurship Development on Value-Added Fodder Products” from 17th to 20th January, 2022.
Delivering the inaugural address, Dr. Amaresh Chandra, Director, ICAR-IGFRI, Jhansi underlined the role of capacity building in up-scaling the fodder-based Agri-preneurship across the country.

Dr. Purushottam Sharma, Programme Director & Chairman (HRD), ICAR-IGFRI, Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh highlighted the appositeness of attaching the trainees to ICAR-IGFRI, Jhansi.
Dr. Shahji Phand, Centre Head (EAAS) & Principal Coordinator (AC&ABC), MANAGE and Programme Director, Hyderabad delivered the welcome address.
The participants were apprised about the improved forage crop varieties and production technologies for irrigated and dryland conditions across the country.
The programme aimed at acquainting the participants with the untapped potential of the fodder technologies and capitalizing its veiled business opportunities registered participation by around 50 Agri-preneurs from across the country.
