The 6-day Virtual Training Programme on “Analysis of Experimental Data” organized by the ICAR-National Academy of Agricultural Research Management, Hyderabad from 17th to 22nd January, 2022 concluded today.
Delivering the valedictory address, Dr. Ch. Srinivasa Rao, Director, ICAR-NAARM, Hyderabad highlighted the importance of experimentation and analysis of the quality data generated from the various agricultural experiments. The importance of developing the crop modelling for forecasting that would help in suitable policy planning was also underlined by Dr. Rao.
During the programme, the participants were provided with the various advanced analytical techniques and hands-on training for the analysis of data using open source, powerful and popular R Software.
The programme was aimed at orienting the researchers with the various statistical techniques for conducting experiments, collecting data from the conducted experiments and analyzing them using the various statistical techniques and interpreting the results properly to give a meaningful validation.
A total of 131 participants including 28 Female participants from the various ICAR Institutes, State Agricultural Universities and Private Institutions participated in the programme.
