The ICAR-Agricultural Technology Application Research Institute, Jodhpur, Rajasthan organized the “Virtual State Level Work Plan (2022) Workshop for KVKs of Haryana and Delhi” today.


In his inaugural address, the Chief Guest, Dr. B.R. Kamboj, Vice-Chancellor, CCSHAU, Hisar, Haryana highlighted the several initiatives like “Mera Pani Meri Virasat” for addressing the issues related to soil, water, environment and climate changes for the larger interest of the farming community. He regarded the judicious use of the various resources as the need of the hour.
Dr. S.K. Singh, Director, ICAR-ATARI, Jodhpur apprised the participants about the priorities fixed by the Government of India which are to be addressed holistically by each Krishi Vigyan Kendra. He urged the KVKs for introducing the bio-fortified varieties. The importance of the post-harvest technology & value-addition, precision farming, implementation Drone & Artificial Intelligence, Natural Resource Management and Organic & Natural Farming, etc., was underlined by Dr. Singh.
The Workshop registered participation by a total of 19 KVKs (18 from Haryana and 1 from Delhi).
