The three-day Awareness Training Programme on “Quality Management System as per ISO 9001:2015” organized by the ICAR-National Institute of Natural Fibre Engineering Technology, Kolkata from 16th to 18th February, 2022 concluded today.
The programme was organized in collaboration with the Indian Rubber Manufacturers Research Association (IRMRA), East Centre.
Earlier, in his inaugural address, Dr. D.B. Shakyawar, Director, ICAR-NINFET, Kolkata emphasized on the Institute’s quality management policy and the efforts being made to reach to the NABL Standard. The need of the training on Quality Management System as per ISO 9001:2015 Standard to enhance the Institute’s functional output was highlighted by Dr. Shakyawar.
Dr. K. Rajkumar, Director, IRMRA underlined the significance of ISO Standards for maintaining the organizational quality. The various clauses of the ISO 9001: 2015 were discussed by Dr. Rajkumar.
A total of 26 participants from the various ICAR Institutes also participated in the programme.
