The ICAR-Indian Grassland and Fodder Research Institute, Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh organized the five-day Training Programme on “Improved Fodder Production, Conservation & Utilization Technologies” from 21st to 25th March, 2022.

Inaugurating the programme, Dr. Amaresh Chandra, Director, ICAR-IGFRI, Jhansi underlined the role of the capacity building in farm diversification with the fodder-based farming practices.
Dr. Amaresh Chandra, Director and Dr. P. Sharma, Chairman, HRD & Head, Division of Social Sciences, ICAR-IGFRI, Jhansi delivered the valedictory address.
Earlier, in his welcome address, Dr. Gaurendra Gupta, Coordinator & Scientist, Division of Social Sciences, ICAR-IGFRI, Jhansi briefed about the course contents.
The programme aimed at apprising the farmers with the untapped potential of the fodder-based farming systems and capitalizing its veiled opportunities registered participation by a total of 30 farmers from the State of Madhya Pradesh.
