5 - 7 December, 2019, Jalna
The ICAR-Agricultural Technology Application Research Institute, Pune; Agriculture Skill Council of India (ASCI), New Delhi and Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Jalna-I jointly organized a three-day “Training of Trainers (ToT) Programme from 5th to 7th December, 2019. The programme was organized for the trainers of KVKs, State Agricultural Universities and ICAR Institutes at KVK, Jalna-I.


In his inaugural address, Dr. Lakhan Singh, Director, ICAR-ATARI, Pune highlighted the importance of the ToT Programme for developing the skills of KVK trainers. He urged for identifying the needy person for the specific enterprise. Dr. Singh emphasized on integration of technical skills by the master trainers with soft skills in their respective job roles. He stressed on carrying out the follow-up and impact analysis after conducting the enterprise based skill development training. Dr. Singh urged the master trainers for harnessing the potential of entrepreneurial skill that will help in creating their own agri-business and enhancing the income on sustainable basis.
Smt. Sayali, Regional Head and Shri Shyam, Expert from ASCI, New Delhi dealt with the different soft skill sessions.
Dr. S.V. Sonune, Head, KVK, Jalna-I was also present during the programme.
A total of 55 trainers from Maharashtra (35), Gujarat (17) and Goa (3) participated in the programme.
